Eddie Duffy was born on April 10, 1973 and passed away on February 27, 2006 at the age of 32. We will remember him always and forever.
Eddie was a loving husband to Susan; one of four sons to Brian and Cathy; as well as brother to James, Brian, Sean, Lee and Claire. He was a proud uncle to all his nieces and nephews and a friend to so many, it is impossible to list them all…
He was taken from them all, at too young an age and only God knows why. My thought is that God wanted another ‘genuine soul’ with him that day… and Eddie was that soul! A ‘gentle giant’ of a man, who loved life, loved a laugh and always made people around him feel better for being in his company… a talent that not many have. He was most definitely one of a kind!
He and his family are special to me and so many others; this is my way of honouring his memory, while helping others have a better future.
John McCallum was born on April 23, 1962 and passed away on October 29, 2005 at the age of 43. He will always be in our thoughts.
John was a larger than life character who lived life at one pace – light speed. He was infectious to be around … whether that was positive or negative I'll leave to you individuals! He was an incredibly positive individual and was always prepared to go the extra yard to help others, when he could, which was often. He loved his family, his friends and worked non-stop to give them the best he could.
In early 2005, John was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which ultimately took his life. Before then however, he managed to work his way through his own "Bucket List" and boy, did he enjoy it?!
From a personal point of view, when I was going through the toughest time in my personal life, he wanted to help me… he was dying and yet he still thought of others. That sums up the man. You are now and always will be, sorely missed.
